Esther Wambui

Esther is a brilliant 15-year-old girl who completed class 8 at Logos Christian Academy Mai-Mahiu in March this year and topped her class with 335 marks out of 500. When you meet Esther, an only child who lives in Mai Mahiu, you would be surprised to know her background. She is full of life, warm, courageous and bold. She is not afraid to go for what she wants and she strives for excellence and greatness.

Born and raised by her blind mother who is an only parent, Esther is the embodiment of a life of favor and grace. Esther’s mother fully depends on her for all house chores and guiding her whenever she has errands to run. Her mother is a picture of resilience. In spite of being blind, she is a valued part of her community and has greatly impacted lives around her, even as she depends on well-wishers.

Through your support and sponsorship, Esther has joined Maai Mahiu Girls High School and we can’t wait to see what God will do for her and through her!
